Rear frame in a rigid and lightweight polymer, composed of several bolted elements.
New suspensions. WP Xplor 43 fork and Xplor PDS shock absorber. The same elements used on the 85 SX but with smaller displacements (250 mm at the front and 260 mm at the rear).
Giant wheels, machined hubs, and Maxxis specific Freeride tires

Three power modes, battery gauge and "reserve" (economy mode arrived at 10% of the battery).
Formula braking with a radial 4-piston front caliper and a 260 mm-Wave disc. At the rear, the 2-piston caliper bites a 230 mm-Wave disc.

The footrests have eccentric brackets that can be rotated 180 degrees, allowing them to be retracted by 8 mm.
The homologated model of the 2018 E-XC Freeride is accessible to the A1 license (power of 9 kW and weight of 111 kg)
